Meraki Talent are delighted to be working with a well-respected Chartered Accountancy firm on the permanent appointment of a Corporate Tax Senior.

The Role
***Due to a sustained period of growth within the business, this leading firm are looking to add to their impressive Tax function through the appointment of a Corporate Tax Senior.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handling a varied portfolio of complex, corporate clients and delivering quality work in line with budget and deadlines
  • Managing corporation tax enquires, and other correspondence with HMRC
  • Preparation of corporate tax computations, tax accounting figures & disclosures, and offering advice on tax liabilities for more complexed companies
  • On hand to offer support to management team on ad hoc client advice, technical research, and other general taxation matters
  • Assisting with the training and development of junior members of staff
  • Able to assist in specialist advisor projects, recent advisory projects include demergers, restructuring, due diligence, capital allowance reports, overseas tax matters, and property transactions amongst others
  • Progressing onto reviewing tax work and handling a small reviewer portfolio
  • Effectively identify opportunities for clients and partake in business development activities
  • An effective, confident communicator able to develop positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders, clients, and colleagues across the firm
