Park Place - Our Retirement Village based in Boston, Lincolnshire is on the lookout for a Gardener / Maintenance Assistant


Responsibilities:


  • To ensure that all open areas of the grounds, including grassed areas, beds, woodlands, boundary fences, roadways, paths, and paved areas are properly maintained to a high standard.
  • To ensure the structure, fixtures, fittings, and equipment of the Village are properly maintained.
  • To undertake regular inspections and monthly checks of the Village with the Facilities Manager
  • To report immediately any defects or faults which may compromise the safety of residents
  • Painting and Decorating
  • Responsible for treating roads and pathways with salt/grit when necessary, during winter months

Requirements:


  • Excellent customer service skills to interact with internal stakeholders
  • Proactive in their approach and the ability to organise their own workload.
  • Excellent all round handson practical skills.
  • A competent level of computer literacy including, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong role model for excellent customer service.
  • Approachable and open manner able to demonstrate empathy and a personable approach.
  • Experience working in a fastpaced environment.

Salary:
£26,000.00 per year
