Donor Centre Administrator - Cambridge Donor Centre
Job Summary
The Donor Centre Administrators welcome and are the first point of contact for our Blood and Platelet donors at the Cambridge Donor Centre and you will be a vital part of the team in the management of our donors and the collection of life saving blood donations.
To join the team, you'll need experience of managing a busy office in a service or people-focused environment, maintaining electronic and paper-based records and processing documentation.
About the Role
- You will be working as part of a team to ensure that enough donor appointments are booked to collect the required blood groups on a daily basis to ensure patient requirements are met
About You
Experience and Knowledge
- Experience of maintaining extensive records in both paper and electronic format in a way that allows others to quickly retrieve information
- Experience of working and complying with standard procedures and confidential information
- Experience of working in a high paced, customer focussed environment
- Knowledge of organising and prioritising a busy and varied workload
Qualifications and Training
- Educated to NVQ level 3 in Customer Service, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate commitment to own Continued Professional Development (CPD).

This is a permanent part time post and the working hours for this post are 22.5 per week.
This post is within the Cambridge Donor Centre, which is in the grounds of Addenbrooks Hospital, but there is free staff car parking on site.
