Description

As the next phase of the "Think 111 First" service, NHS England have launched a major new campaign to encourage the use of the "111, Press 2" service for mental health.

Locally, in North Central London this service will be hosted in partnership by Barnet Enfield & Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust and Camden & Islington NHS Foundation Trust.

This hub, based at St Ann's Hospital will provide a 24/7, all-age service for people who need advice and support with a mental health need.

As part of the new hub, we also have the opportunity to develop an exciting 12-month pilot service to support the Metropolitan Police with their often-difficult Section 136 decisions, and where appropriate signposting them to alternatives to the use of Section 136 across London.

This is a fabulous opportunity to be part of these new and re-designed services in NCL through supporting the expansion of the Crisis Single Point of Access offer across North Central London.

So, if you're a skilled mental health nurse or practitioner who has effective and compassionate communication skills and are committed to delivering high quality healthcare advice, then we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Crisis Hub in North Central London.

The roles will be supported by a robust clinical and managerial leadership structure which will encourage professional development for those seeking to expand their clinical experience.
