Your responsibilities will encompass more than just developing and implementing an outstanding English curriculum.

You will also take on the role of a mentor and guide, providing support and guidance to our dedicated team of teachers.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the English department, providing guidance and support to teachers
Develop and implement an engaging and comprehensive English curriculum
Collaborate with other academic leaders to enhance crosscurricular initiatives
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and implementing strategies for improvement
Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment
Ensure effective use of resources and technology within the department
Maintain open communication with parents regarding students' academic performance
Stay uptodate with developments in the field of English education

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
Teaching certification and relevant teaching experience
Proven experience as a Head of English or in a similar leadership role
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the English curriculum
Strong leadership and management skills
Ability to inspire and motivate students and staff
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Uptodate knowledge of current educational trends and best practices
Passion for English education and a strong commitment to academic excellence
