Who we're looking for? The following are the essentialskills required:

  • Experience of completing JLP Smarthseet and similar Product Information sheets.
  • Experience working with marketplaces and/or D2C channels with an understanding of how to manage sales performance.
  • Experience in trading products on John Lewis, Next and Amazon through either a seller or vendor model.
  • A strong understanding of directtoconsumer marketing and content.
  • Experience in implementing eBusiness strategy and driving both internal and external buy in.
  • The ability to translate numerical data and analytical findings into actionable recommendations.

About the role:

Main responsibilities:

  • Daily site maintenance, correcting product descriptions, product placement, new item posting, out of stock item removal, and overall functionality.
  • Marketplace Ecommerce operations, customer service management, updates, post listings, promotions, merchandising, maintenance, and performance.
  • Monitoring advert costings across the various marketplace channels.
  • Plan weekly, monthly, and annual forecast for channels as well as item and category projection for inventory management in conjunction with Merchandising and Finance.
  • Management of account queries.
  • Create and launch promotional activity and decide the suitable channel strategy.
  • Reporting of product listing and optimisation suggestions.
  • Create engaging, highquality content.
  • Develop the merchandising strategy
  • Support the finance department to reconcile sales and returns.
  • Review marketing channels and site performance metrics to explain variances to business.
  • Determine why certain products are trending up or down, clearly articulate observations and propose strategies to troubleshoot problems.
  • Review monthly customer service reports and put into place action items to ensure efficiency of the process.
  • Create sales reports and feed back to the wider team on a weekly basis.
