Main Responsibilities:


  • First point of contact for service providers and internal departments for all matters relating to the transportation of products.
  • Ownership of all activities relating to planning and issue resolution.
  • Liaise with suppliers and Customer Services for daily query resolution in order to provide bestinclass service.
  • Maintain a daily problem log for trending purposes.
  • Proactively informing Customer Service departments, service providers, and escalation to senior management where appropriate.
  • Ensure placed orders are presented to service providers in line with service level agreements.
  • Protect the company's position by ensuring service providers deliver against agreed SLAs.
  • Maintain accurate preshipment and postshipment administration including (but not limited to):ETA tracking
  • POD retrieval
- processing damage and loss claims

  • Evaluate and respond to additional/special service requests
  • Follow up all discrepancies with suppliers and Customer Services, understanding root causes and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyse delivery performance of service providers and provide regular updates to management through weekly and monthly KPIs. Challenge poor performance where necessary.
  • Proactively identify areas of concern in the areas of service, quality and cost and work with the necessary partners to resolve such concerns.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement from a service, quality and cost perspective and follow through to completion.
  • Support Supply Chain project activity and deliver assigned workstreams to agreed timelines.
  • Support the Transport and Warehouse Manager where necessary.
  • Ownership of all improvement initiatives and following these through to completion.

  • Experience of managing thirdparty suppliers
  • Experience using SAP and Excel

Job Types:

Salary:
£28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
