Teaching Assistant

Cheltenham

£13.65 per hour

30.5 hours per week

Temporary - ongoing

My amazing client, based in Cheltenham is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their busy team within the SEND department.


The Role:

  • Work with individual students or small groups following the direction of the tutor
  • To support learners to develop the skills to enable them to live independently
  • Support students to achieve their targets, and to record and track information regarding those achievements
  • Keep students' administration up to date and update students' personal files

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Proven experience of working with young people in education
  • GCSE English and mathematics (or equivalent) at grade C or above
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • IT literate
