Careline Lifestyles Ltd are a leading independent provider of high quality nursing and residential care, specializing in acquired brain injuries, neurological, mental health needs, learning and physical disabilities for persons over 18 years of age in addition to providing nursing, residential and social care for the elderly, based across the North East of England.


About the role of a Care Home Administrator:

  • Responsible for the smooth running of the administration of the care home
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records of the home in line with Company policies and procedures, using computer and manual systems.
  • Process receipts of monies against clients accounts. Maintain records.
  • Ensure continuity of payroll.
  • Provide administrative / secretarial support to the Home Management Team
  • Operate office equipment such as fax, photocopier and computer as required.
  • Answer the telephone, respond to inquiries from clients and visitors and redirect inquiries in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Attend mandatory training courses, on or off site, as and when required
  • Maintain professional knowledge and competence.
  • Ensure the security of the homes is maintained at all times
  • Promote safe working practices in the homes
  • Ensure that all information of confidential nature gained in the course of duty is not divulged to third parties.
  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures within the defined timescales.

What you need

  • Previous administrative experience
  • Good numerical and word processing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge / experience of Microsoft software
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Genuine interest in working within a caring environment
  • Maintain confidentiality

Shifts

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday 8.30am 5pm

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£10.48 per hour
