We are currently looking for a
Mobile Multi Skilled Operative (Quarry) to join our friendly team based out of Tarmac Cloddach Sand & Gravel Quarry, Elgin, near Inverness but providing Operative support across all our sites in the Caledonian region.

The key element of this role is loader/excavator operator/ static plant operator and the site is easily accessible from Inverness, Elgin, Forres, Kinloss, Lossiemouth, Keith and the surrounding areas.

Role Responsibility:

The role of
Mobile Multi Skilled Operative (Quarry) will work as part of the Multi-Skilled Operational team which produces dry aggregates material for the construction industry.

As well as delivering best in class Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality performance for our Plant operations the role of
Mobile Multi Skilled Operative (Quarry) you will specifically focus on operational tasks including:

Working with aggregates on site and operating machinery (including excavator and loading shovel)
Day to day maintenance of the static plant, maintaining the highest levels of housekeeping
Working with other members of the team to ensure that customers get good quality material and ontime deliveries
Maintaining and driving a culture of zero harm and behavioural safety
Compliance and awareness Health and Safety measure around the site
Additional duties may be required but full training provided
Have knowledge of the industry, Plant and ideally of quarrying
Possess experience working as loader/excavator operator/ static plant operator (preferred not essential)
Be flexible and able to work as part of an effective Multi Skilled Quarry Operative team
Be self motivated and able to motivate other colleagues in the team
Have knowledge of Risk Assessments within role of operative
Have knowledge of SSOW (HIRA) and Permit systems (preferred but not essential)
Be compliant and engage with company policies, targets, goals and standards
Good timekeeping flexible as to the Units requirements
Good communication skills bringing problems to the attention of Line Management
Full UK Driving Licence
Be IT literate
Shovel/excavator Licence (preferred not essential)
