Morgan McKinley is working with a very well established organisation based in the Chichester, West Sussex area, who is looking for an experienced Finance Director to join their Management team.

The Finance Director will drive change and provide strong financialleadership as well as providing effective financial planning, detailed budgets/forecasts, cashflow management and improving financial process and controls.


Salary:
£75K


Hours: 45 hour working week with hybrid working opportunities


The Finance Director duties:


  • Reporting and forecasting
  • Management of operational responsibilities including the daytotoday accounting team, client payments, invoicing, account management, margin reports, etc.
  • Working with the Senior Management team and senior stakeholders in delivering financial information
  • Preparation and production of monthly management accounts
  • Commentary and Analysis of P&L to support decision making within tight deadlines
  • Produce cost analysis of various cost centers
  • Annual audit process
  • Delivery of budget
  • Oversight of payroll and management of daily and weekly payment runs supported by Finance team
  • Develop the business' strategic objectives, including those specific to Finance
  • Support other Directors as leader of margin management, overhead control and tracking performance against key financial metrics
  • Proactively manage external relationships including bank, accountants, key suppliers etc

Skills and experience required:


  • Proven Finance Director / Finance Manager / FD / Financial Controller experience
  • Qualified Accountant or advanced level ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a proven track record within a similar leadership finance role
  • Experience in working to, and setting budgets
  • Strong financial reporting skills and proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and balance multiple objectives
