I am delighted to be working in partnership with Michelmores on the appointment of a Recruitment Business Partner - Lateral Hires.

Michelmores are a Top 100 law firm with offices in Bristol, Exeter, and London and satellite offices in Cheltenham and Sidmouth.

The role of Recruitment Business Partner is a brand-new role for the Firm and will provide support in the development and delivery of a high-quality HR and recruitment service.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to develop an inclusive,efficient, and impressive recruitment process that attracts and retains the absolute best talent, building talent pools for future growth, and working with key stakeholders to provide a specific focus for lawyer, partner, and senior support talent acquisition.


Recruitment Business Partner responsibilities include:

Talent Acquisition

  • Providing a smooth, efficient, and inclusive endtoend recruitment process for all lawyer, partner, and senior support roles
  • Taking a proactive approach in fulfilling the firm's growth strategies to deliver a forwardthinking, effective, and diverse recruitment strategy for mid to longterm recruitment needs
  • Management of the whole recruitment cycle for lateral hires
  • Direct sourcing of talent through tools such as LinkedIn, Legal Monitor, internal referrals

Employer Brand

  • Work with internal teams on the implementation of their employer brand and EVP
  • Develop Communities and talent pools through advertising, headhunting / direct approaches, networks, recruitment events, social media, and employee referrals

General

  • Work with Deputy HRD, Recruitment BP for Early Careers, and HRBPs on strategic recruitment projects
  • Prepare regular reports
  • Support the HR team on strategic and operational HR projects as required

Recruitment Business Partner requirements include:

  • Graduate or equivalent. CIPDqualified or equivalent
  • Successful track record of inhouse recruitment with a background in recruitment within professional services
  • Previous experience in building and developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in direct sourcing of talent and building pipelines
  • Social media confidence with online networks and participation (online forums etc)
  • Technically minded across a variety of tools from Microsoft Office suite to ATS
