Exciting Opportunity for a Buyer

Are you a dynamic and strategic thinker, with a passion for procurement? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at building strong supplier relationships? We are seeking a Buyer to join our braking systems team.

This position will allow you to work in a strong collaborative team, driving excellence. As well as see you acquiring integral commodities for vehicles across JLR, The House of Brands.

As we continue our journey to progress with the reimagine strategy and offering electrified vehicles.

This is a great opportunity for an individual to lead and be responsible for building strong working relationships, influence and negotiate with our stakeholders.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Identify Make vs Buy opportunities, supporting to develop business justifications when required
Lead the development of the supplier relationships globally for your designated commodities.
Lead negotiations with external suppliers for both current and future products.
Ensuring supplier performance meet the JLR Quality, Cost, Delivery, Innovation and Sustainability requirements.
Participate in Global functional improvement projects, process improvements and activities as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:

Influencing & Negotiation skills.
Capability to create longterm purchasing strategies.
A strong communicator with the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders
Proven track record in Direct Procurement.
