SEMH Teacher - SEN School - Corby, Northamptonshire - Open to experienced teachers and SEND ECT - January MPS/UPS (£143 to £225 daily)
Are you an experienced SEMH Teacher or an ECT with SEND experience looking for a role in January 2023? Would you like to join a new school supporting children with SEMH difficulties using a therapeutic approach?

  • Tradewind are working with an exceptional and aspirational Alternative Provision School based a private woodland. The school are looking for an SEMH Teacher to help further design and develop new provision, as as teach._

SEMH Teacher - SEN School - Corby, Northamptonshire

Desirable to have experience working with children with SEMH difficulties

Long term to permanent role starting in January 2023

MPS 1 to UPS - Equivalent daily amount: £143 to £225

About the School
This expanding SEMH provision school that is based in Corby, is situated in lovely and tranquil woodland.

The site, formerly an outdoor activity centre, is perfect for the nurturing approach the schools has taken to children with SEMH difficulties.

Allowingthe children to explore nature and learn in a peaceful and calm environment, helps to stimulate and engage those who struggle in a mainstream setting.

The school are looking for a teacher from either a primary or secondary background with experience of workingwith children with SEMH difficulties.

You will contribute to designing and developing new provision, whilst be excited to teach in a nurture setting across all curriculum areas.


Role requirements

  • QTS Primary or Secondary Teacher
  • Passionate about helping disengaged students renew their interest in education
  • Understanding, calm and caring persona
  • Keen to develop a strong understanding of AP and SEN education
  • Committed to a longterm role that could become permanent
