Reporting to the Programme Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective governance of our portfolio of software development projects, implementing best practice governance and processes across all of our divisions and teams.
Working closely with senior leadership within Product Development and our Divisions, you will ensure that time and resource are used effectively to maximise business value and that work across the portfolio aligns with Product, Division and Access businessobjectives.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Responsible for the endtoend portfolio governance and portfolio management practices and processes, in alignment with Access's strategic goals and objectives
- Oversee the Quarterly Portfolio Review process to ensure that the portfolio remains balanced and focussed on delivering value, while aligning with the Access, Divisional and Product business objectives
- Responsible for portfolio and project financial accounting and time recording, working closely with our Finance Partner to provide financial reports and submissions
- Responsible for the standards and procedures for portfolio tracking, reporting, documentation, and communication.
- Oversees the Product Development risk register ensuring risks are proactively managed, escalated where necessary and mitigated.
- Manage the PMO team including performance coaching and evaluations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Programme Director.
- Be agile and perform effectively in multi-tasking fast-paced environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and nontechnical audiences
- Selfmanaging and working virtually
- Excellent team player who can work with virtual, global, and crossfunctional teams
- Capacity to manage high stress situations
