Description

We are looking for quality inspectors who will be ensuring the safety and security of locking systems? Do you have an eye for detail and a knack for identifying flaws in lock mechanisms? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Lock Tester at our manufacturing facility in Merlin Park, Erdington, UK.

Location:
Merlin Park, Erdington, UK

Salary:
£10.42 per hour

Working Hours: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

Lock Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of various lock mechanisms to ensure their functionality, durability, and security.
Quality Assurance: Inspect and assess locks for any defects, malfunctions, or irregularities, reporting findings to the quality control team.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of lock testing results, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with locks and suggest improvements or adjustments to enhance their performance.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while conducting lock tests, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Requirements:

Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot even the slightest imperfections or irregularities in lock mechanisms.
Technical Aptitude: Basic knowledge of lock systems and an understanding of mechanical principles.
Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic, with the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Salary:
£10.42-£15.63 per hour
