**Outreach Development Tutor - Scale 3


Salary:
Up to £20,000 - £24,000

Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm

Location:

The Write Time School, Warrington Road, Croydon, CR0 4BH**The Write Time ethos is therapeutic with a strong sense of family togetherness.

Whilst there are clear boundaries between staff, pupils, and their parents, we do ensure that the welfare of our students is nurturing and based on mutual trust.

All studentsreceive free breakfast and lunch, and participate in a variety of activities during break and lunch times.

Staff at The Write Time recognise that eating with the students and participating in activities throughout the school day helps break down barriers andstrengthen their relationship within the classroom.

About you

  • Willing to participate in all training and develop a career in education
  • The ability to mentor students through their time at The Write Time
  • The ability to work with the class teacher to manage a small group of children with complex social communication needs
  • The ability to promote positive behaviour in a nurturing environment is essential
  • A positive approach to managing challenging behaviour and staying calm under pressure
  • The ability to run group sessions tailored to student needs
