Project Management - About the team.

The Project Management team are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of agency services across the full client portfolio. This team is 15 strong and is integral to the business and project success.

The team continue to grow and develop delivery skills day to day, strive to deliver consistently high standards, whilst at the same time thriving in the fast-paced creative agency environment.

Role


The Project Management Team Lead is responsible for the quality and health of project delivery across key client accounts within the agency.

This role is a line manager for project managers (4-5 headcount), models excellence across the wider team and the development plans for line reports and workload management.

The lead is also appointed to deliver on projects where skillset and capacity is needed, and is an escalation point for key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Champions all agency process and systems and is actively involved in continuous process improvement.
  • Knowlege holder and escalation point for project understanding across key accounts.
  • Maintains visibility and quality control for all projects within client responsibility, establishing robust checks with team members for consistently high standards.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with all functions to ensure smooth delivery and quality output across all touchpoints of project lifecycle.
  • Ensures that all SOWs are accurate and include detailed plan of project stages, delivery dates, budget and resource requirements.
  • Monitors the project status and financial health of workload throughout the delivery phases making data informed decisions and escalations.
  • Proactively identify project risks and building mitigation plans and solutions with the project team.
  • Delivers to client and business project reporting needs.
  • Strong understanding of client forecast, and scoping business needs to deliver.
  • Collaborates with business functions to build thorough onboarding and ways of working plans for clients.
  • Agency system first response to all reporting and status requirements.
  • Plays a leadership role in adding to the department and business culture through involvement and enthusiasm.
  • Line manager to project managers and role model to wider PM team and delivery functions.
  • Adhere to company processes and timelines for performance management reviews, career planning, promotion & pay review cycles.
Skills & experience

  • Experience defining and creating SOW's in a creative agency.
  • Comfortable servicing client directly as first point of contact and escalation.
  • Ability to work on and lead teams to deliver multiple briefs simultaneously.
  • Managing and mentoring project managers within an agency environment.
  • Exceptional organisational, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
  • Experience of delivering integrated projects for platforms including television, digital, online and social including creative and production.
  • Solid understanding of integrated project processes, workflows and methodologies.
  • Systems lead approach PM practices and delivery.
  • Experience with direct reports and line management responsibilities.
  • Approachable, unflappable and ability to pivot to business and client needs
  • Interest and appreciation of highquality creative output
  • 8+ years experience creative industry experience essential.
