As a Barclays Wealth Management Executive, you will be assisting the Wealth Manager in acquiring, servicing and retaining clients to deliver overall business goals.

This is an excellent opportunity to become a key point of contact for the client for day-to-day operational matters.

You will assist the Wealth Manager in marketing products to clients and aid the cell/team/business in the delivery of its targets and goals.

Working Flexibly
This opportunity is location flexible. We will consider requests for locating the role at an alternative Barclays' key UK office from that advertised.


What will you be doing?

  • Supporting and monitoring relationships with the clients, working alongside the Wealth Manager to ensure quality service is provided at all times
  • Ensuring quality, accurate and timely execution of all client and administrative items and reporting of all risk events and complaints
  • Acting as the key contact point for clients dealing with daytoday administration across the range of services and products
  • Acting as liaison between Wealth Manager and specialist product areas, e.g. Investment Management, Credit, Fiduciary, etc. to ensure the smooth operation of all services, e.g
  • Handling incoming mail, faxes and phone calls from clients, interacting with the relevant support departments and confirming all relevant actions to the clients
  • Preparing letters and adhoc reports for clients and drafts letters for Wealth Managers
  • Addressing and solving clients' administration inquiries in order to provide high quality personalized service
  • Performing daily operations and transactions on clients' accounts

What we're looking for:


  • General knowledge of Barclays Wealth Management products and services, and of the wider Barclays Group
  • Knowledge of financial services Risk and Control procedures and extensive investment, fiduciary and banking product knowledge
  • Able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of relevant changes in the marketplace, products, legislation and regulation and appreciate the implications to the role
  • Awareness of regulatory issues/procedures and ability to demonstrate integrity and adherence to compliance policies and procedures

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Knowledge of the banking, planning and financial system
  • Knowledge of financial services Risk and Control procedures
  • Degree qualification preferred
  • Technically minded with excellent PC skills (Word, Excel, Power point)

Where will you be working?

Our West Malling office is one of our key areas for growth and is situated at 30 Tower View in Kings Hill, West Malling.

The office location is centrally positioned in the County making it very accessible from anywhere in the South East and it takes advantage of the road and rail travel links (easy access to/from London on the train; closely aligned to the M20 and good access to Tunbridge Wells and the South Coast).

The office provides an excellent central base for the growing team in Kent to support our existing clients and the growth of our client base.
