South London

Pupils at the schools and colleges have a wide range of needs such as PMLD, SLD, MLD, ASD & SLCN.

The therapy team works closely with families and school staff, NHS and social care teams, and the onsite multidisciplinary teams.

The trust is committed to improving the lives of all students and you will be tasked with working alongside the schools and colleges to devise and implement individual and group programmes.

The post holder will carry out comprehensive, specialist assessments(including moving and handling) and make recommendations to address practical problems encountered by students, alongside recommendations of how this can be improved.

Working alongside the trusts and its schools and colleges you will be an integral part ofthe team, using current systems and suggesting ways to improve to provide the best outcome for students.

Be a Professionally Qualified Occupational Therapist to a degree or diploma level.
Confident in assessments, monitoring and evaluating students and the services provided.
Contribute to training of teachers, parents, and other professionals.
Have previous experience working with children and young adults.
Provide references from current and previous employers.
An Enhanced Child and Adult DBS check, registered on the update service, or be willing to complete one.
Be willing to commit to a long term or permanent position.
