Jo Holdsworth recruitment are currently recruiting a Legal PA on behalf of a well-established, award winning Law Firm, based in the heart of Leeds City Centre.


As a Legal PA your position will be embedded within the legal team, and you will be responsible for providing proactive administrative support as well as high level PA support to the partners.

The position will assist their Partners and Legal Directors withtheir business development, and administration support as required. You will also play a key role in helping to drive all marketing and business development initiatives.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to;

  • Providing a highlevel PA support to our partners and legal directors as required. Awareness of their key priorities, clients and targets is essential to be able to effectively manage their time and commitments.
  • Management of complex diaries with often conflicting priorities. Understanding the responsibilities of the partners and keeping up to date with any changes will help with effective management of their diary.
  • Attendance at internal and external meetings to take minutes/actions and deliver on any follow up.
  • Manage any actions that come out of the partners' relationship manager review meetings.
  • Support partners with any specific firm wide initiatives or objectives they may be leading.
  • Arranging travel and accommodation through the firm's travel system.
  • Completing company credit card and cash expenses forms for the partners each month within the deadline.
  • Any general adhoc administrative tasks for partners and legal directors.
  • Team Support
  • Business Development working with the partners and legal directors to ensure that they are maximising business development opportunities with current clients or target clients
  • Marketing actively driving and supporting the legal teams and firmwide marketing initiatives.
  • Ensuring that new firm wide or departmentspecific improvement initiatives or guidelines are implemented by the teams.

Experience, skills set and/or qualifications required:

  • Previous PA experience of working in a law firm or other professional services environment
  • Essential
  • High degree of initiative, proactivity and practical problemsolving skills, along with a willingness to take ownership for the completion of tasks or projects.
  • A clientfocussed approach with welldeveloped communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to cope with a wide range of demands and changing priorities.
  • Resilience to maintaining focus under pressure, as is often required to meet tight and demanding deadlines.
  • A commitment to being part of a successful team
  • Professional, approachable, and able to work well with others in building positive relationships with clients.
  • Strong attention to detail to produce accurate work.
  • Demonstrates an ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professional discretion.

Hours:
This position is full time, permanent. Working hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch

Salary:
£26,000 - £33,000 per annum depending on your level of experience
