Description
What do you get if you cross an award winning, innovative, water company and over 300 dedicated team members? Our Capital Delivery team of course

Our ambitious and innovative projects (all 5000+ of them) help to combat the challenges of waste and water infrastructure, flooding, and water quality.

Be a part of something bringing benefits to our communities, health outcomes and environment. It could be the biggest challenge of your career.

If you want to do more because you care, we'd love to talk to you. There really is something for everyone here.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

We are currently on the lookout for a PMO Programme Controller to join our Capital team to be based at either our Finham, Coventry or Raynesway, Derby office.

You'll play a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of our capital programmes by ensuring that controls such as governance are implemented and maintained throughout the projects lifespan.

You'll provide assurance that programmes will deliver their objectives to schedule, through high quality governance groups and reporting.

As well as this, you'll undertake reporting, quality control, financial tracking, risk and issue tracking, change control and benefits tracking.

Some of your key accountabilities will be:

  • Review new project proposals and their deliverability.
  • Provide advice in line with PMO guidelines.
  • Engage with the Design, Delivery and Commercial teams to agree the best project delivery route.
  • Track delivery of the projects/programme and escalating issues as and when required.
  • Manage and maintain the reporting process.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE

Our new PMO Controller will bring experience of working within a programme management environment, whilst having a strong understanding of project controls such as financial, risk, and benefits management.

You'll have solid knowledge of working in Excel, and it would be great if you have some experience of using tools such as Primavera P6 and MSP, however this is not essential.

The right skills and experience are important. But if you have the right character, positivity and a caring attitude we want to talk to you, too.

We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality as we know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our communities.

We want people who show up and get involve.

Those who are ready to be part of something bigger and who want to make a difference because they care.

Is that you?
