Financial Accountant month FTC, HIGH potential to go permanent

Based:
Bolton - 2 days per week in the office, 35 hours per week (flex working hours)

Are you a finalist or newly qualified Financial Accountant looking for a fantastic opportunity?

My client, a nationwide business who prides themselves on excellent customer service and who puts their people at the heart of everything they do, is currently on the lookout for a Financial Accountant to join them.

Established over 15 years ago, they are anexciting company who are growing year on year in an extremely buoyant sector with plans to continue to grow over coming years.

You will be reporting into the Financial Controller on a daily basis.

Role:

Production for the month end accounts including group consolidation
Production and posting of key journals including accruals, prepayments, accrued and deferred income
Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations are prepared on a monthly basis, and that all balances are correct, and differences investigated
Assist with providing explanations to variances to budget, forecast and prior year
External monthly reporting to funders
Production of statutory accounts
Prepare statutory submissions for review for example relating to VAT, PAYE and P11Ds
Purchase ledger processing and thirdparty invoices
Daily treasury and weekly payment run
Support the forecasting and budgeting process, providing information and analysis where required
Assist with Payroll processing and checking
