Are you a qualified Allied Health Professional who has been out of practice and looking to return to working in the Profession?


Have you had a break from your profession for longer than 2 years? If yes, this is a fantastic opportunity to start your AHP Return to Practice journey at the Northampton General Hospital.


  • Physiotherapy,
  • Occupational Therapy,
  • Therapeutic Radiography,
  • Diagnostic Radiotherapy
  • Operating Department Practitioner.


For applicants with greater learning needs and/or more time away from clinical practice, employment to a junior band may be more appropriate, giving applicants time to re-acclimates and further educate themselves for the NHS of today.

In these circumstances employment will be offered at band 4 level, with agreed individualised objectives and action plans to increase to the appropriate qualified band when objectives and HCPC registration is achieved.
