Self-Employed Labourer for Building Site in Southend-on-Sea
Location:
Southend-on-Sea, Essex

Currently this will be a 10 week project but could lead to further work
Are you a skilled and motivated self-employed labourer looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to a new building project in Southend-on-Sea? We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:

General Labour Tasks: Perform a variety of manual tasks, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, and moving materials, as well as assisting in the construction process.

Site Preparation: Assist in preparing the building site by cleaning, clearing debris, and ensuring a safe and organised workspace.

Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to accomplish daily goals and meet project deadlines.

Material Handling: Safely handle and transport construction materials to designated areas on the site.
MUST HAVE Requirements:

Self-Employed Status: As a self-employed labourer, you will be responsible for managing your own tax affairs.

Construction Experience: Proven experience as a labourer on construction sites with a strong understanding of construction processes and safety protocols.

Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.

Reliability: Punctual and dependable, with a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently.

Team Player: Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and take direction from site supervisors.

Health and Safety: Knowledge of and commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations on construction sites.

Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication skills to coordinate tasks with team members and supervisors.
