A leading multi-national manufacturing business is currently recruiting for a Project Buyer / New Product Buyer based in Cheltenham (hybrid working) on a fulltime permanent basis.


The Project Buyer / New Product will be responsible for managing new product development/introduction requirements and controls of the purchasing module on the ERP system, supplier selection, management of sub-contract work package, development of a competitivesupplier base focussed on cost reduction.

Understanding and interpreting engineering requirements working with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.

Role - Project Buyer / New Product Buyer

Type - Permanent position

Location - Cheltenham (hybrid working, 3 days on-site per week)

Salary - £35,000-£45,000 (DOE) + benefits

Key skills and experience required for the Project Buyer / New Product Buyer job applicant and not limited to:

  • Proven experience within a Procurement role, manufacturing background is preferred
  • Good working knowledge of ERP/MRP system
  • A high level of commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
