Commercial Finance Manager | Live Music and Events Scale-Up | London | Hybrid


Harmonic Finance are working on an exclusive basis with one of London's most exciting and innovative Live Music and Events scale-ups.

Only a few years into their journey, they are looking to hire their first Commercial Finance manager to join an independentlyowned collective that promotes an exciting and ever-growing entertainment environment.

Based in North London is their exceptionally aesthetic open plan office. Boasting a non-corporate working environment with emphasis on a flexible hybrid working model. You will be joining a team that is very fun, vibrant, and passionate about the music entertainmentindustry.

Fitting into a culture that is one of London's most refreshing environments with current revenues of circa £7M and goals of exceeding the £10M mark in the next few years.


You will be reporting straight to the directors, as a motivated and exceptionally hard-working Finance Manager you will managing all day-to-day accounting operations and owning the entire accounting environment for the team as well as supporting with commercialand strategic planning.


The Role:

Heading up the entire accounting environment your role will include:

  • Creating board packs and producing monthly management accounts for stakeholders and Directors.
  • Analysis and commentary on weekly and monthly performance to be reported to stakeholders and directors
  • Create and execute key systems and oversee processes that are essential to control accounts and maximise profits.
  • Teaming with the operational division by providing financial insight.
  • Cash flow management
  • Internal KPI and internal controls monitoring
  • Forecasting group budgets
  • Liaising with leaders and board members to provide valuable information that will power impactful business outcomes
  • Management of a team of 1 direct hire (transactional finance) which be growing in time to a team of 2

What our client would like to see:

  • ACA, CIMA or ACCA QUALIFIED
  • A passion for numbers and data
  • An excellent communicator with a genuine entrepreneurial drive
  • Experience in the hospitality and leisure industry
  • Expertise in excel and efficacy in Xero (or similar)
  • Genuine enjoyment for building financial control systems that maximise profitability

What we would like to see:

  • Strong technical experience
  • Experience in a fast growth or SME entity
  • Experience within restaurants, venues, pubs, bars, festivals, hotels, coworking spaces or multisite retail would be beneficial

£60K -£70K + benefits
