We are currently looking for a talented and motivated
Graduate Transport Planner to join our expanding Transport Planning team in our
Manchester Office.


What does the role involve?


Working as part of the Manchester Transport Planning team, you'll support a wide variety of projects and be involved in a range of activities from bidding through to project delivery.

This could include supporting with data analytics, transport and environmental assessments, feasibility studies, transport appraisal and economic assessments, multi-modal modelling, sustainable transport, intelligent mobility and other emerging technologies.


You will take ownership and responsibility for the quality of work you produce, ensuring that work is delivered in line with the agreed timescales and ensuring you understand and comply with our Company Integrated Management system and all relevant health and safety legislation.


To be successful in this role you'll possess:

  • A strong interest in transport and the urban environment
  • Strong analytic and problemsolving skills and are passionate to find a quick, innovative and practical solution.
  • The ability to communicate and work collaboratively to form strong positive working relationships with colleagues and clients and enjoy working in a team environment, sharing knowledge and demonstrate pride in work.
  • The ability to organise and prioritise your workload to ensure that project timescales are met.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills including the ability to process and analyse data.

Training and support on technical knowledge, skills and behaviours will be provided locally at Team level.
