REED HR is delighted to support our client who wishes to recruit a Learning & Development Partner. This is an excellent hybrid opportunity to work with an established organisation- Develop the strategic direction of the learning function by contributing to the People Plan & organisational learning objectives
- Create a learning plan to reflect an understanding of the business needs & prioritise training delivery based on training matrices
- Design, deliver & procure learning interventions including the assessment of vocational qualifications in the Care & Support function
- Undertake development of learning management systems update course content, manage course attendees& report on attendance to ensure mandatory training is delivered
- Implement LMS improvement projects to plan & budget
- Ensure focus to achieve efficiencies in Learning provision & management by streamlining processes & utilising systems
- Develop policies & procedures ensuring they are legally compliant & support objectives
- Keep abreast of legislative changes & developments to ensure mandatory & technical training courses reflect these
- Manage budget in area of responsibility
- Analyse data & produce reports tailored to varied audiences
- Do internal & external audits, ensure recommendations are implemented & compliant with ISO procedures
- Manage the learning function, developing team members in their roles
- Ensure new employees receive induction to enable them to be successful
- Represent company's public & professional profile in line to its mission, values & strategies & incorporate into work activity
- Develop relationships within business & keep updated on developments. Enable immediate engagement as support required
- Embed fairness & equality across all services to ensure employees, tenants & service users are treated fairly
ESSENTIAL
- Knowledge of the Social Care Sector & related issues
- Knowledge of the Vocational Qualification framework
- Knowledge & expertise in people development practice including contemporary elearning
DESIRABLE
- Knowledge of the Housing Sector & current issues
- Work as effective Team member, contributing to the People Plan for the benefit of the Directorate & company
- Understand & convey ideas & information clearly & accurately
- Plan & organise activities to deliver learning interventions
- Skilled in the use of technology & systems ie: Microsoft, elearning & LMS
- Resolve problems where immediate solutions may not be apparent, use initiative to identify solutions
- Design, deliver & evaluate learning interventions, suitable for varied audiences
- Develop & deliver management programmes to enable positive cultural change
- A positive, inclusive style able to motivate & develop others
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Strong organisational in relation to budgetary & resource management
ESSENTIAL
- 3 years min experience in a L&D role with 2 years min experience in managing a team
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement / Verification
- Experience of a regulated environment
- Experience managing & developing learning systems & learning interventions
- Experience managing a budget & financial reporting
DESIRABLE
- Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Process & Practice
- Experience of working within an ISO Quality framework
- Experience of Investors in People
