Not only does this allow The Carpet Stop showrooms to look stunning, but it always brings down the prices you pay.

We are also able to offer you a massive choice for all your flooring needs.

Our expansion has included opening retail carpet outlets throughout the UK in Derby, Burton, Ilkeston, Manchester, Nottingham and our mobile Sheffield store

We are now looking for an experienced carpet sales advisor to join our team in our store in Stockport on a part time basis.

Actual days of work are not currently fixed and will be discussed at interview.

The Carpet Sales Advisor job role involves:

Providing customers with estimates
Giving advice on the type of flooring they may need
Updating customer information on our bespoke CRM system

In order to be successful the following is required:

Strong communication skills
Good understanding of arithmetic
Face to face sales experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent level of customer service
Smart appearance
Have confidence when dealing with customers
Experience of working in the carpet/ flooring industry is essential
Basic understanding of cutting/laying carpets
