Sea Freight Forwarder

Co. Antrim - Belfast

Salary - Up to £35,000


Due to continued success, I am delighted to be working with a leading transport company who are seeking for a Sea Freight Forwarder to join their successful team on permanent full-time basis.


About you

  • Experience of working within a Freight Forwarding or Transport role
  • Knowledge of Customs procedures

In your new role you will

  • Deal with transport and haulage companies
  • Handle enquiries with customers and suppliers
  • Carry out bookings on internal freight system
  • Manage the movement of freight in and out of the country, including arranging appropriate documentation
  • Communicate with the authorities
  • Monitor, record, analyse and reports on activities and trend
  • Complete paperwork associated with international freight forwarding
  • Communicate with internal warehousing to coordinate freight activities.
  • Provide quotations for customers
  • Other adhoc duties
