We are a domestic and overseas removal company with our warehouse based in Hackbridge Surrey, We are one of the UK's leading UK and international removal companies.

We have been operating for over 25 years and are looking to expand our workforce.

We have immediate openings for experienced Removal people who have had exposure to the packing of clients' personal effects for relocation.

We have also immediate openings for Trainee Porters/Packers to join our team. We are currently looking for drivers to drive our 3.5T vehicles and HGV vacancies

Job Requirements:

Experience in the removals industry, particularly export packing is preferred but not essential.

It is essential that you are well presented and can communicate clearly and professionally within a clients' home whilst carrying out your role.

Purpose of the Job:
Your principal duty is to work as a Porter following the instructions given to you by your Foreman/Supervisor, and to work co-operatively with your colleagues, although you may be given other work to carry out from time to time

You will be trained in all aspects of loading and unloading vehicles, securing loads and skilful in making collections and deliveries in order that you can carry out your job to the highest standards


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
The work consists of the wrapping, packing/unpacking, lifting and carrying of personal effects, art, and the other contents of households and commercial or institutional premises (some of which may be heavy or awkward) and the loading and unloading of shipping or storage containers or cartons and commercial vehicles

You will be trained to provide excellent customer service

You will be expected to have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

You will abide by the Company's dress code and manner

Main Responsibilities

Wrapping, packing and labelling small items

You will be trained in the fundamentals of wrapping, packing and labelling small items according to our working practices

Wrapping and packing carpets and furniture:
You will be trained in the fundamentals of wrapping, packing carpets and furniture according to our practices

Wrapping and packing specialist tasks

You will be trained to know how to wrap and pack a specialist item such as a mirror, marble statue, barometer, mantle or long case clock.

You will gain experience of this each time the task is undertaken

Maintain Safe Working Conditions

You should be aware of health & safety issues and be looking out for unhealthy, unsafe or hazardous areas of your working environment and dealing with these in accordance with our health and safety policy

You will have developed your communication and interpersonal skills
