Welder


We are an established main contractor, based in Glasgow and Manchester, undertaking new build, refurbishment and insurance reinstatement work within the industrial, commercial and retail sectors throughout the United Kingdom.

Due to continued growth, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Welder to join our structural steel fabrication division.

The role will be full time on a temporary contract with the opportunity of the contract becoming permanent depending on performance.


Duties include:


  • Use of rota broaches
  • MAG Welding
  • Oxy/Propane burning
  • Marking and measuring of structural steel
  • Use of workshop bandsaw
  • Use of hydraulic punch/cropper

Requirements:


  • Able to read drawings
  • Positive cando attitude
  • Selfmotivated and proactive
  • Team player
  • Honest and reliable

Job Type:
Temporary contract

Contract length: 3 months


Salary:
£13.00-£14.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:


  • Fabricating: 4 years (required)
