Production Specialist to join our growing team.

£13.29 to £15.35 per hour

Penrith

Immediate start

3 shift rota: 06:00 to 14:00 - 14:00 to 22:00 - 22:00 to 06:00

Mon to Fri only

Full time, permanent contracts

Overtime available at enhanced rates

YOUR ROLE
As part of our Quality Team, you will be working within a fast-paced production environment and your duties will be as followed:

  • Verifying that products are being supplied to specifications
  • Identifying potential substandard materials
  • Preventing substandard materials from entering the supply chain
  • Identifying and segregating any nonconforming items
  • Feedback findings and producing reports
  • Machine setting and basic maintenance
  • Root cause / problem solving
  • Recording down time
  • Working closely with the team to build a "rightfirsttime culture"

REQUIRED PROFILE

  • Previous experience in a similar role and environment is desirable however not essential, as training will be provided
- 'Health and Safety First' mentality

  • Mechanically minded
  • A very keen eye for detail
  • Quality conscious
  • Ability to work independently to an extremely high standard
  • IT skills
