Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract: 3 years fixed term contract (Until May 2026)

Are you passionate about education? Do you thrive on organising exciting activities for young minds? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in the museum's Programme Development team._

As a Project Coordinator for our 'Little Makers' project, you'll be co-creating unforgettable activities for and with school groups in the Black Country.

Organisation and creativity are key in this role, as you'll be instrumental in designing engaging programs that ignite curiosity and foster a love of learning.

What will you be doing?

Cocreating with schools highquality, meaningful, and creative learning experiences that will benefit KS1 pupils and meet the curriculum requirements of KS1 teachers.
Developing, project managing, and delivering inperson creative workshops and digital content to support the learning outcomes to be used by teachers.
Instigating and sustaining lasting relationships with Black Country schools and other relevant organisations.
Working and communicating across multiple teams and organisations to ensure delivery is on track with set deadlines,
Training teachers and members of the museum's internal team, in the delivery of new content and tours for a KS1 audience.
Disseminate experience and best practices within the wider heritage and learning communities.
Independently traveling to schools across the region.

What are we looking for?

Experience delivering & creating learning content and activities for schools.
Evidence working with and/ or understanding of KSI audiences.
A passion for promoting creativity and enthusiasm.
Strong project management and communication skills.
Practical experience in evaluating projects and activities.
Flexibility to work outside of normal museum operating hours.
