Description
Walker's Logs is a small family business, and we are looking for a production assistant and forklift operator.


The role will include:


  • Forklifting cages of firewood, from the production area, to other parts of the site.
  • Maintaining the firewood processors
  • Daily cleaning of the machines
  • Vehicle checks
Full training will be given, as well as all necessary PPE.

Having a Forklift license would be a bonus but not essential, as we can organise a forklift test. (Forklift experience is required)

Walker's Logs are a leading supplier of kiln dried firewood and kindling to both retail and trade customers. We are a family run business, which started 18 years ago.


We are looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable

  • Happy to work in a small team

Hours:

Monday - Friday

29 days holiday per year


You must have transport to get to our site GL54 4DL, Public transport is NOT available, due to our location.

Salary:
£620.00 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cheltenham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Forklift: 1 year (required)

  • Forklift Licence (preferred)
