In the role of Digital Technology Coach, you'll be predominantly based our Waterfront site (however this is a multi-site role) and have a remit of of developing and delivering high quality, inspirational, coaching and training for teaching staff; focusing on the use of learning technologies for teaching, learning and assessment in line with the college's Digital Vision and Action Plan.

You will also lead on and support digital innovation projects, developing staff awareness of emerging technologies in different industries and keeping the college ahead of the curve.


Your key responsibilities will be to support staff to improve and enhance the use of digital technologies for teaching, learning and assessment (TLA), collaborate with curriculum teams to support the design and implementation of digital learning content, facilitate the Innovation Hub space offering opportunities for staff and students to develop their digital curiosity and work across both curriculum and service areas to drive the digital agenda.


Ideally, you'll have a Level 4 qualification in a related discipline (or be able to prove equivalent ability) and demonstrable experience in designing and implementing training on digital technologies.

It's important that you're able to evidence knowledge of a wide range of digital technologies, particularly those used in educational settings and how you have used technology in creative and innovative ways.
