KDC are looking to appoint 2 x part time Customer Finance Officers to work collaboratively and lead the delivery of an independent appointeeship service for Knowsley.

Your role will ensure Appointeeships are managed with a person centred approach that promotes the independence of the individual.

The role will include, but not limited to

  • Making sure the client is happy with our service.
  • Checking if they need any additional support with their finances.
  • Reviewing their income and outgoings, including a full benefit check
  • Budgeting
  • Liaising with families and professionals
  • Passionate about the service you deliver

Interviews will be held face to face at KDC's office in Huyton on 7 September 2023

Desirable skills and knowledge

  • Ability to develop and establish efficient workflows/internal procedures
  • Knowledge of law and legislation relating to Corporate Appointeeship/Deputyship
  • An understanding of the Care Act 2014 and the assessment process
  • Experience delivering appointeeship service
  • Experience in a health and/or local authority involving the delivery of welfare benefits/financial advice service
  • Experience operating and managing banking software systems, preferable PFS/EML Card Payment Systems

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20 per week


Salary:
£13.18 per hour
