What you'll be doing:

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will provide administrative support to the busy Payroll function whilst working collaboratively with other departments.

Duties and Responsibilities - Accurately process timesheets. - Ensure Pension records are updated for all employees. - Accurately process all aspects of statutory payments and deductions within monthly payroll deadlines. - Accurate processing and communication of information to authorised internal, external and Government third parties. - Demonstrate a flexible and helpful approach to the Company and peers. - Assist with the resolution and investigation of employee payroll queries.


Who we're looking for:
We are looking for that blend of practical working knowledge with academic understanding that can deliver with impact.

You should have experience of working in a busy admin role, ideally within payroll although not essential as accuracy and timing is key.

Skills and Experience


ESSENTIAL

  • Demonstrable accuracy of data input and the ability to challenge the quality of data.
  • Administration, planning and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • High level of computer and IT skills, in particular MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • GCSE Pass (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Ability to commute to Chawston Head Office.

DESIRABLE

  • Good understanding of Sage and Eque2 software.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
