Bookkeeper/Administrator

Lisburn

£30,000 per annum

Hours:
Mon - Thursday 8.00am - 5.00pm


Friday 8.00am - 3.00pm

(will consider part time hours, salary pro rata)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage both Sales and Purchase ledgers in Sage
  • Assist Accountant with preparation of monthly PAYE, VAT, CIS returns and annual accounts
  • Assist with weekly and monthly payroll
  • Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • New supplier setup along with company/bank/VAT checks
  • General bookkeeping and administration duties

Essential

  • Experience in Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll
  • 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Finance and Accounting skills
  • Demonstrate a good ability to work in a fastpaced environment and deliver tight deadlines around the Financial calendar
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Good Microsoft Office skills to include Excel, Word and Outlook

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the Construction Industry
  • Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
