Payroll Executive - £32-35k per annum - Hybrid


  • Looking to take a step up as a Payroll ExecutiveWith our client based at Westbourne Park, West London, you will be taking sole responsibility for payroll, quickly becoming a vital part of a highly successful group of companies.

  • Working for a group of companies comprised of a restaurant, bakery, and shop, you'll be organising payroll for ~120 staff across these premises.

???We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented payroll professionalto take sole ownership of the payroll process, stepping into this
Payroll Executive role, and reporting directly to the Company Accountant.

  • This is
    _a full-time, hybrid position_ with
    _4 days in the office at Westbourne Park_ and
    _1 day working from home._

  • You have the option to take a higher pay (from £32,000 to £35,000) by taking on some minor elements of HR Administration to support the Payroll function, such as the managing of personnel records (~5-10% of the role).

  • Interviews take place in-person and on-site - do you have availability for an interview in the next week

  • What are the key responsibilities for this role
  • Processing the company's payroll every pay period
  • Maintain the payroll processing system (SAGE Payroll) by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
  • Compute the employee takehome pay based on contracts, time records, benefits, and taxes
  • Answer staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
  • Receive and coordinate requests for leave, and other absences
  • Perform the distribution of wages by direct transfers to employees' bank accounts

  • What are we looking for
  • Significant experience with payroll administration or management for over 100 staff
  • Experience using SAGE Payroll software
  • An organised, methodical approach to work and deadlines
  • Understanding of tax procedures, and accounting and bookkeeping skills
  • A strong administrative background, and are able to hit the ground running
  • Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAGE
