Priddy Books was started with one simple aim: to publish innovative, early learning books for babies, toddlers and young children.

It was founded in 2000 by Roger Priddy, whose passion for educating children through fun, informative and engaging books has led him and his team to create some of publishing's most enduring and successful early learning titles - such as _First 100 Words _and _See, Touch, Feel_ - which have sold millions of copies to date.

We are looking for a Senior Editor who can come up with great new ideas, understand how novelties can enhance a child's learning experience, manage several books at once, and train junior members of staff.

They must have a strong visual eye and will work closely with our designers.

Key tasks of the role include:

Coming up with new book ideas
Managing several titles at once
Training junior members of staff
Presenting to sales and marketing teams.
Excellent editing skills
Strong communication skills
Handy with a spreadsheet
Able to use Adobe InDesign
Knowledge of what makes babies and toddlers tick

This is a full-time, fixed-term (maternity cover) role, and will be based in our offices in Farringdon, London, with some flexibility to work from home each week.

Salary starting from:
£38,000
