TITLE FINANCE ASSISTANT


RESPONSIBLE TO FINANCE MANAGER


LOCATION FORESTGROVE BUSINESS PARK, BELFAST, BT8 6AW


WORKING HOURS FULL-TIME (37.5 HOURS PER WEEK)


JOB BRIEF
Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are looking for a Finance Assistant who has significant skills using
Xero accountancy software and has demonstrable experience working within a busy in-house finance function.

Main duties of the role include assisting with payroll, month end account summaries, bank reconciliations, purchase and sales invoice processing.


KEY TASKS AND DUTIES

  • Reconciling bank accounts across the group
  • Processing credit card statements and allocation / reconciliation
  • Sales Ledger invoicing
  • Maintaining accurate financial records
  • All purchase ledger approving / processing
  • Credit control

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 2 years in a Finance Assistant role is essential
  • Xero experience would be beneficial
  • Good MS Office specifically excel is essential
  • A team player is required as the role entails active participation in the team

WHAT WE OFFER:


  • Salary of £24 £28k per annum depending on experience
