TITLE FINANCE ASSISTANT
RESPONSIBLE TO FINANCE MANAGER
LOCATION FORESTGROVE BUSINESS PARK, BELFAST, BT8 6AW
WORKING HOURS FULL-TIME (37.5 HOURS PER WEEK)
JOB BRIEF
Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are looking for a Finance Assistant who has significant skills using
Xero accountancy software and has demonstrable experience working within a busy in-house finance function.
Main duties of the role include assisting with payroll, month end account summaries, bank reconciliations, purchase and sales invoice processing.
KEY TASKS AND DUTIES
- Reconciling bank accounts across the group
- Processing credit card statements and allocation / reconciliation
- Sales Ledger invoicing
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- All purchase ledger approving / processing
- Credit control
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 2 years in a Finance Assistant role is essential
- Xero experience would be beneficial
- Good MS Office specifically excel is essential
- A team player is required as the role entails active participation in the team
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Salary of £24 £28k per annum depending on experience
