Project Manager - EWI Social Housing

Type:
Temp - Perm

Location:
Wolverhampton

Hourly Rate:
£ Umbrella PAYE


I am currently looking for a project manager to work on a newly won zero carbon project based in Wolverhampton.


Duties:


  • Review design drawings for buildability and coordination. Raise RFI where appropriate
  • Manage the Health and Safety of all activities on site and implement Wates process and procedures.
  • Manage the Site Operations team including site managers, assistant site mangers and logistics team
  • Coordinate and Manage Sub-Contactors to ensure programme requirements are achieved.
  • Agree subcontractors long term and short term programme and monitor performance against these programmes
  • Monitor and understand position against contract programme, agree recovery programmes with the Project Manager
  • Coordinate and communicate with all support functions including, commercial, planning, design and engineering.
  • Assist the Project Manager in achieving the Project Quality standards to ensure compliance with specifications and project requirements.

About You:


  • At least 3 years' experience working for a main contractor as a project manager
  • Social housing and EWI experience
  • Excellent design and programming skills
  • Experience using Astral or Microsoft Projects
  • Good health and safety
  • SMSTS / CSCS / First Aid / Scaffold Inspection / Asbestos Awareness
