We are currently recruiting for a well-established service provider in Preston, who are looking for a Financial Controller to can work alongside the senior management team, and develop a streamlined and informative financial reporting pack.

The businessis well established and has grown organically over the last few years, with an excellent brand across Lancashire this is a great role for someone to make their mark in a senior position within the business.


Duties will include:

  • Fully responsible for the statutory reporting, HMRC submissions and all associated reporting compliances
  • Responsible for the monthly management accounts production, supporting commentary and presentation of the consolidated Board pack
  • Develop and continually improve the accuracy of the reporting of the balance sheet, trial balance and ledgers
  • Develop a deeper knowledge of the WIP reporting, closely monitoring the forecasting and reforecasting position
  • Produce meaningful reports within profit and loss reporting structure
  • Supervise the bank and daily cashflow forecasts
  • Modernising the current reporting structure and standardising the internal reporting processes
  • Manage a finance team on a daily basis, supporting individual growth and developing a cohesive reporting environment
