Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a London based Law Firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced Risk and Compliance Manager to join their team based in the London area.

JOB DETAILS

PAY RATE: £80,000 Per Annum

JOB SUMMARY

A dynamic and diversified position that actively aids the General Counsel in upholding a strong framework for risk and quality management.

Working primarily independently, this job calls for the fusion of fundamental technical know-how with the capacity to come up with creative solutions while staying within the firm's risk tolerance.

The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

Assist the General Counsel in managing concerns involving anti-money-laundering, reputation management, financial crime, data security, and conflict that are brought to Risk and Compliance's notice.
Help the General Counsel to regularly deliver training on a range of regulatory topics, with a primary emphasis on conflicts of interest.
To serve as a goto expert for common compliancerelated questions, particularly those pertaining to the SRA Code of Conduct and Principles and conflicts of interest. This includes coordinating the creation of regulatory returns, such as managing the My SRAaccount, the SRA annual PC renewal, the ICO annual renewal, and managing referral agreements.
Coordination of responses to Risk and Compliancerelated inquiries made in client tender papers, with a focus on maintaining a register of standard answers.
