We have an exciting new opportunity for a Supply Chain Supervisor to join the newly formed UK arm of Arctiko, a leading medical fridge and freezer company, providing innovative and reliable refrigeration solutions to healthcare providers across the globe.

Located in the Salisbury/New Forest area and reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the supply chain making sure that high-quality products are received in time to allow the inspection and calibration to be completed before shipping to the customer in line with agreed delivery dates.

Key tasks will include:

• Managing stock, ensuring physical stock aligns with the MRP system and that minimum stock levels are set for all products.
• Negotiating price lists with suppliers.
• Creating and managing Purchase Orders.
• Approving and reapproving suppliers.
• Being the point of contact for importing products into Europe.
• Negotiating and ensuring Kanban levels are maintained with suppliers.
• Despatching sales orders in line with customer expectations.
• Monitoring component availability and advising the business of any obsolete, long lead time or increases in the price of components.
• Managing and leading the teams under your responsibility.

Previous experience of working within a Supply Chain role involving stock and stock control is essential. You must have strong management skills with a proven ability to mentor and develop a team.

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills are needed in order to build good working relationships with employees, customers and suppliers.

You must have effective problem-solving skills and the ability to produce and communicate clear plans in complex situations. A flexible attitude with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines is essential.


Benefits:


Salary:
up to £40,000 depending on skills and experience.

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 4pm

Holidays:

starting entitlement of 22 days plus Bank Holidays increasing each year to a maximum of 28 days plus Bank Holidays.

Sabbatical:
one month paid sabbatical after 6 years.
