Van Driver - Exeter, United Kingdom - Turntable Furniture

Description

• To help with driving 3.5 tonne van, collecting and delivering furniture, carpets and electrical appliances (there is already one driver).
• Loading and unloading vans and organising the storage of these items.
• Ensuring vans are roadworthy and refuelled as necessary.
• Helping with with any other tasks involved in the Turntable's activities as requested.
• Being responsible for own safety at all times and following safe working practices.

• A clean, full UK driving licence.
• Experience of driving 3.5 tonne vehicles.
• Experience in manual handling and safe practices.
• Ability to use initiative and work calmly under pressure.
• Ability to deal with people in face to face situations.
• Ability to work constructively within a team.
• An empathy with the aims and objectives of Turntable in relation to social inclusion and supporting the City's recycling strategy.
