As a Residential Care Officer, you will report to the Deputy Manager and play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.


You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Deputy Manager in the daytoday running of the care home
  • Assisting with the assessment and care planning process for residents
  • Providing personal care and support, promoting independence and dignity
  • Building positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all residents

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in a similar care role, ideally within a residential setting
  • A compassionate and personcentred approach to care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A relevant qualification in health and social care (desirable but not essential)
