Procurement Specialist - Glasgow, United Kingdom - Meraki
Description
Meraki Talent are working with an outstanding Financial Services firm who are going through a sustained period of growth and as a result are keen to add a Procurement and Outsourcing Manager to the current team.
Key duties of the role include:
- Developing, maintaining and overseeing robust procurement policy and procedure in accordance with appropriate regulatory requirements.
- Managing crossfunctional engagement where supplier works across more than one
- Acting as the first point of contact for stakeholders when they are considering procurement options on their projects
- Establish strong working relationships with customers to successfully support them throughout the consultation and implementation process
- Present process options to customers and assist in their decision making
- Develop in depth knowledge of warehouse and materials management over time.
- Manage multiple projects and be responsible for consulting with all project stakeholders
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the organization's buildings, ensuring
- Ensure efficient and smooth business operations, minimising any interruption from external factors.
Experience required:
- Demonstrable experience of supporting businesses growth through an efficient
- Ability to work with, influence and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders at
- Significant experience managing multiple projects/tasks effectively.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Financial spend management
